I love my maxi (aka crotchless yoga pants), so when I was deciding which piece of clothing I was going to remix for an upcoming blog link up with Putting Me Together, it was one of my top choices.
I kept my jewelry to a minimum because, 1) I think you can focus more on the outfit rather than the jewelry, but 2) I was trying to get my photos done quickly & quietly while my sick hubby was taking a nap. 😉
Here are each of the outfits individually…My maxi skirt is from Loft, but most of the other items aren’t online anymore so I didn’t include links. If there’s something specific you have a question about though, I can tell you where I got it.
The leather jacket look is my fav. (Not that you’re probably surprised.) I also really, really want a military vest like the one you featured. Need one of those for Fall.
You? Leather jacket?! I’m shocked! lol. Actually, every time I see something with skulls I think, “Erin would like this!”. Haha. Truth is, I like me a little skull action too. 😉 I got that vest from Kohl’s. Not sure if it’s still there, but with a coupon, it’s a steal! I want a full sleeve version for fall/winter. When I was out shopping last week I saw an army green jacket with leather sleeves, but for the life of me can’t remember where I saw it. It’s driving me bonkers b/c I perused past it the first time b/c I was looking for a dress and told myself to keep moving, but now I want to get a better look at it!
Oh man, I love a great maxi skirt and this one is no exception. They really are like crotchless yoga pants, aren’t they?! I especially love your outfit with the knotted pink tank and that cool necklace.
Thanks, Ashley! That’s one of my favorite looks too. 🙂
These are great! My black maxi skirt is one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe too. I love how you’ve knotted this at the base – I’ve never thought of doing that before but it really changes the style a lot. The zebra, leather jacket, chain necklace pairing is awesome!
I’m convinced a black maxi is a must have staple for any closet. It was fun trying to find new & different ways to dress it up. I did love how different of a look it gave the skirt by knotting it and pairing it with dressier items. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment!
